[uklinux-status] SMTP Server Down last night.

Our main SMTP service (smtp.uklinux.net) was unavailable from 02:19 this 
morning until 10:10 when I noticed and restarted it.

Please accept our apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused 
you. It appears that a sendmail process had failed to terminate properly 
and this prevented a restart from happening properly.

While our restart scripts are set to handle this kind of event properly it 
seems something unexpected happened this morning. I'll be looking into 
that to determine and resolve the cause.

Our backup SMTP servers were operating normally so no incoming email has 
been lost.
