[uklinux-status] Web Servers

Following some system software (security) upgrades yesterday two
of our web servers did not restart following the nightly logrotate.
This affected the uklinux.net website and freewebhost sites which were
unavailable for a few hours this morning.
I have tested the logrotate and the problem should not recurr.

Following the software upgrades freewebhost is now running a (much) newer
version of php. There is a slight possibility that this may cause problems
for some websites that rely on features that have changed.

Advice may be sought from the php website or via support email if you 
have any problems related to this upgrade.
